Mobile Device Compatibility

This guide is designed for administrators managing Vocalised services. Zebra Mobile supports a wide range of modern, unlocked eSIM-compatible smartphones.

Apple (iOS 15.4 or later, iOS 17.1+ recommended)

• Supported on US and Global models only
• iPhone XR or later - 12, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max or later recommended
• iPhone SE (2022)

Google Pixel

• Pixel 7 and later, 7a is not recommended
• Requires Android 13 with March 2023 update or later
• eSIM support is mandatory

Samsung (Android 14 or later recommended)

• Supported on US and European models only
• Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra
• Galaxy S22, S22+, S22 Ultra
• Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra
• Galaxy XCover 6 Pro
• Galaxy Z Flip4

Samsung Android 13 and OneUI 5.1 is supported on these Global Devices

• Model variants: Samsung unlocked “B” and “B/DS” models; (but not W, N, E, 0)
• OS: Android 13/OneUI 5.1 or above
• SW/CSC: Only “BTU/EUX” or “EUX/EUX” non-carrier software; not carrier versions like “EVR/EVR”

⚠️ All devices must be carrier-unlocked and support eSIM functionality.

Checking if your Device is Unlocked:

The following methods work on many devices:

• iPhone: Go to Settings > General > About. If “No SIM restrictions” appears next to Carrier Lock, your iPhone is unlocked.
• Android: Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators and tap Search Now. If multiple names show up, your phone is probably unlocked.

Compatible Devices (but not supported)

The following Compatible Phones have been tested with specific OS/firmware versions and in specific regions. Support for use outside these tested parameters will be on a best effort basis.

⚠️ We only support eSIM functionality, if there is high demand for physical SIMs, we will add them to Vocalised which would enable support for Nokia 2780 Flip, 6300 4G, G11, G21 TA 1418 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10.
