Billing & Invoices Overview

This section explains how Vocalised services are billed, when your first payment is due, and how to manage your invoices and payment details.


First Bill & Pro-Rata Charges

  • Services are billed monthly from the 1st of each month, with invoices generated typically between the 3rd and 5th
  • If you start partway through a month, your first invoice will include a pro-rata charge to the end of the month
  • New users or add-ons added mid-month are also pro-rata charged, and these appear on the next invoice, along with the full month in advance
  • If you start partway through a month, your first invoice will include a pro-rata amount for the days used
  • Your next full month’s fee will also appear on your first bill if applicable

Trial Periods

  • If you’re on a trial, your first invoice will be generated after the trial ends
  • If services are added during the trial, a one-off payment will be taken immediately for the rest of that month
  • This is the only time we take a payment outside the standard billing cycle; all other payments are made by Direct Debit from the 1st
  • Trials are typically 30 days unless otherwise agreed
  • Any add-ons or extra users added during trial will be charged pro-rata immediately

Monthly Billing Cycle

  • Invoices are generated on or shortly after the 1st of each month
  • Payment is collected via Direct Debit around the 7th of the month
  • Charges include packages, add-ons, and any call usage above inclusive minutes

Upgrades & Downgrades

  • You can add new services or users at any time – charges are pro-rata and apply immediately
  • Downgrades or removals (users or add-ons) can be made once per billing period, and these changes will apply from the 1st of the following month
  • These will be billed pro-rata for the current month and added to the next invoice
  • You may make 1 downgrade/removal per month, which applies from the next billing cycle (1st of the following month)

Where to View Invoices

  • Log into the Vocalised Portal
  • Go to Contract & Billing > Invoices
  • View all invoices by month, download PDF copies, and check payment status

Payment Details

  • You can update your billing contact and payment details in the Account Settings section of the portal

Usage Charges

  • Most packages include UK minutes to landlines and mobiles
  • Out-of-bundle or international calls are charged in arrears
  • View your call usage in the Anywhere Portal
