Managing Phone Numbers
This guide is designed for administrators managing Vocalised services in the Anywhere Portal and need to manage call flow settings. ucSKILLS includes video tutorials covering the main settings.
Numbers (DDIs)
Numbers are added to new users automatically when they are set up. Additional numbers and number ports can be requested via the Vocalised Portal.
Once the new or ported numbers have been added they can be viewed in the Anywhere Portal by clicking on Phone Numbers.
Note: New/Ported and changes to user numbers must be managed from the Vocalised portal and not in the Anywhere Portal.
The Phone Numbers page will show a tick under Available if the number can be used, else a dash if it is in use. The User Type will detail if the number has been assigned to a user or feature.
Click the number to be taken to the user or feature that is currently using the number.
Activate Numbers
New or Ported numbers added to platform are left inactivated.
All User numbers must be managed in the Vocalised My Account Portal. Group numbers can be managed in the Anywhere Portal.
Toggle the button next to the number or number range to activate the number for use with group features like IVRs.
Any active number that is removed from a user or virtual user will automatically be made inactive.
